Residential Excellence: Certified FARR Recovery Housing

Recovery doesn’t stop when you leave the clinical center at 5:00 PM. At The Sylvia Brafman Mental Health Center, we believe that the environment where you sleep, eat, and relax is just as critical as the therapy you receive. We are proud that our Florida residences are certified by the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR).

This accreditation reflects our promise that our housing meets the rigorous standards of ethics, safety, and management you or your loved one deserves. We don’t just provide a bed to lay your head down on at the end of the day; we provide a structured community designed to bridge the gap between treatment and the real world.

The Gold Standard: What Is FARR Certification?

At Sylvia Brafman, we believe trust is earned. That’s why we are proud to have our residences go through the rigorous vetting process of the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR). This certification places us among an elite group of providers that meet over 48 strict standards for safety, management, and ethical care.

For our families, this badge is more than a logo; it’s verifiable proof that your loved one is entering a safe, structured, and dignified home committed to their long-term success. When you see the FARR seal, you know you are choosing a program that values accountability as much as you do.

Gender-Specific Sanctuaries: The Bloom & Lotus Residences

We have thoughtfully designed our housing options to foster connection while respecting personal privacy. Our women’s residence, The Bloom House, and our men’s residence, The Lotus House, are located in quiet, residential neighborhoods in Coral Springs, just a short drive from our Tamarac clinical center.

Unlike institutional settings, these cozy homes are true sanctuaries featuring swimming pools, outdoor lounge areas, and full kitchens where residents cook and break bread together. By separating our housing by gender, we create a safe and specialized “brotherhood” and “sisterhood” dynamic that allows residents to focus entirely on healing without distraction.
