Non-Denominational Religious Services

Non-denomination means that the Christian program doesn’t have a connection with recognized mainline religions and denominations such as Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Presbyterian or Methodist programs.

As part of the mental health and addiction field, our Sylvia Brafman team, wants everyone to know they can receive treatment without feeling judged. With our non-denominations religious services, you can get the help and counseling you need for any mental illness or behavioral addiction.

Don’t Let Fears Scare You Away

Many Christians find that mental health and behavioral addiction treatments are scary. The truth is that religion doesn’t bar people from needing help and treatment. It can be scary to start something new and to reach out for help in ways that you aren’t used to. It can be a true challenge for you. However, by overcoming this fear, you can get the treatment, help and guidance you truly need.

Inpatient Psychiatric Counseling

When it comes to non-denominational religious services, one thing you can do is to enter an inpatient treatment program where you can receive counseling. The therapist will work with you on your history and present issues with addiction and/or mental health issues. You might receive a dual-diagnosis, however, that is only going to further amplify the help you can receive. You can start to use your faith and the treatment you receive from our Sylvia Brafman team to overcome mental health disorders such as anxiety, PTSD, depression and much more. You can use your faith and the help you receive from our team to overcome addiction, too.

Getting Into a Partial Hospitalization Program

Another one of the non-denominational religious services you can be a part of is our partial hospitalization program. For our patients with addiction or mental health disorders, this program may be just what they need. It involves spending about 20 to 40 hours of time in our treatment center every week. Then, you can spend the rest of your time working, at school, home or in a recovery community. This treatment is often called the middle ground as it is more time in treatment than with outpatient of only a few hours a week, but less time than inpatient which is full-time for 30 to 90 days.

Group Therapy and Peer Support

Out of all our non-denominational religious services, we have many clients who benefit greatly from group therapy and our peer support options. In these programs, people often feel less lonely and isolated. They get to connect with others who have had similar struggles in life. They get to work through self-doubt, mental health issues and addiction with others who share similar goals as they do, too.

Daily Meetings with Medical Professionals

If you do attend a partial hospitalization or inpatient program here at Sylvia Brafman, you could have daily meetings with our medical professionals – therapists, nurses and doctors. With the non-denominational aspects of these treatment meetings, you won’t feel as if your religion is being pushed aside. It can be a part of your addiction or mental health treatment.
